in the small rural village of Sandwith which lies
midway between the coastal village of St.Bees &
the harbour town of Whitehaven, on the western
coast of Cumbria.  Perfect for those starting/
finishing Wainwrights coast to coast path
(beginning in St.Bees) or the C2C cycle route
(beginning in Whitehaven).  For those who are
staying with us for either these purposes we will
be offering free transport to the start of either
route.

Prices start from £40 per person per night, (including full english breakfast).

original Grade I listed Moresby Hall.

Situated at the rear of Moresby Hall, and retaining many original character features.

These 19th century farm buildings have been

Snowdrop cottage is part of the former Lowther Arms

Coaching Inn and its history dates back to 1865 or earlier.

The cottage has a perect situation next to the golf course in an area known as Scilly Banks the highest piont in Whitehaven.

Rosehill Theatre is within walking distance.

Bleach Green Cottage is one of a pair built in 1866,

originally occupied by the manager and assistant of the Ennerdale bleach works (now demolished) where locally grown flax (linen) was bleached in the nearby river Ehen.

There is central heating & double glazing throughout plus a wood fired stove in the living room for chilly evenings. Sleeping is provided in one double and two single beds plus the option of a double bed/settee in the lounge, bringing adult accommodation up to six.

There is also a crib or cot available upon request.

Dogs are welcome.

The kitchen/diner can seat and serve six, with sufficient

seating in the lounge for the same number. Outside, a

selection of garden furniture plus the patio helps one enjoy

warm summer evenings.
