Whitehaven MarinaThe Gateway to the Lake District

Whitehaven, situated on the Western Lake District coast of Cumbria is ideally placed to offer boat owners a superb departure point for the Isle of Man, Ireland, Southern Scotland and for Clyde and Hebridean cruising; in addition to providing excellent facilities and berths for local and visiting leisure craft.

The 17th Century harbour of this Georgian port was once the third largest port in the country, successfully trading throughout the world.

The harbour and its surrounding area has been transformed in recent years under a massive regeneration scheme and provides a superb the backdrop for the fully serviced marina which now has Blue Flag status and operates side by side with the fishing fleet working from the port.
